The agent of midfielder Gladson Awako has revealed the midfielder might not play for his new club Hearts of Oak just a few weeks after completing his move from Great Olympics.

Earlier reports suggested that the player has decided not to play for Hearts of Oak due to personal reasons.

Gladson Awako’s agent Yusif Chibsah, however, refused to reveal the main issue with Hearts of Oak and the player, but he stated the problem has nothing to do with financial obligations.

“Hearts of Oak gave Awako permission to hold personal training. We won’t address issues in public. It has nothing to do with financial obligations. Hearts paid everything to the player. It’s likely he may play or may not play for Hearts but we have to meet the club to discuss his future,” he told Enoch Worlanyo on Asempa FM’s Sports Nite Show.

Hearts of Oak were without Gladson Awako in their victory against Guinean club CI Kamsar in the CAF Champions League, it is unlikely Awako will feature in their next game against Wydad.
