    GHPL Match Week 4 Results: Aduana and Ashgold drop points, Kotoko lose again

    The results of Match Week four of the Ghana Premier League are in; Ashgold and Aduana fail to maintain their perfect start to the season, Asante Kotoko suffers another defeat and more.

    Inter Allies 2-3 Elmina Sharks



    Inter Allies suffered their third defeat of the season when they hosted Elmina Sharks in a game filled with goals. Benjamin Tweneboah, Bernand Boateng and Raphael Ocloo were on target for the away side while Victorien Adebayor and Samuel Armah scored for the home side.

    Berekum Chelsea 1-0 Dreams FC

    Berekum Chelsea move to 3rd in the Ghana Premier League after snatching a win against Dreams FC on Wednesday. Fuseini Zakaria’s strike was the difference in Berekum.

    King Faisal 2-2 Bechem United

    King Faisal registered their first point in the Ghana Premier League after they were held at home by Bechem United on Wednesday. Bechem United came from behind twice to snatch a point. Kwame Prepah and Ibrahim Osman were on target for the home side while Prince Kwabena’s brace helped Bechem secure a point.

    Medeama 1-0 Asante Kotoko

    Prince Opoku’s early penalty strike handed Asante Kotoko their second defeat in a row in the Ghana Premier League. Medeama stood firm to deny the Porcupines from securing any point in Tarkwa. Imoro Ibrahim’s red card surely made it difficult for Kotoko to get back in the game.

    Ebusua Dwarfs 1-2 Liberty Professionals

    Ebusua Dwarfs suffer their fourth defeat in a row as they fall again against Liberty Professionals on Wednesday. Seidu Abubakar scored the only goal for Ebusua while Mubarak Alhassan and Rudolf Mensah were on target for the away team.

    WAFA 0-0 Hearts of Oak

    Hearts of Oak held WAFA to a goalless draw at Sogakope on Wednesday as they continue to find their feet in the Ghana Premier League. WAFA currently sit 5th and Hearts 12th on the Ghana Premier League table.

    Eleven Wonders 1-0 Aduana Stars

    Godfred Asamoah’s goal handed Eleven Wonders a huge three points against high flying Aduana Stars on Wednesday at Techiman. Mohammed Yahaya led Aduana failed to continue with their fine start to the season as the slip to 3rd in the league table.

    Legon Cities 0-0 Ashantigold

    Legon Cities were strong enough to stop Ashantigold on Wednesday in the Match Week Four fixture of the Ghana Premier League. Both teams settled for a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium.
