Ghana’s Razak Abalora and Patrick Kpozo win Moldovan league with Sheriff Tiraspol.

Sheriff Tiraspol’s goalkeeper, Razak Abalora, and defender, Patrick Kpozo, have won the  Moldavian league.

The Ghanaian duo played pivotal roles as Sheriff claimed their 21st championship title.

Both Abalora and Kpozo were instrumental in Sheriff Tiraspol’s commanding 4-0 victory over Milsami, which solidified their status as Moldova’s champions.

The scoring began with Moroccan forward Mohammed Amine Talal finding the net after 20 minutes, followed by Mouhamed Diop doubling the lead just 11 minutes later.

Abdoul Fessal Tapsoba extended the advantage right before halftime, and Bubacarr Tambedou secured the victory in the second half.

As a result of their triumph, Sheriff Tiraspol will represent Moldova in the UEFA Champions League in the upcoming season.

Furthermore, Kpozo and Abalora have the opportunity to claim a double if they emerge victorious in the Moldovan Cup final against CSF Salmi.
