Ghana’s Nathaniel Adjei scores maiden goal in Swedish  Allsvenskan.

Spectators at Tele2 Arena witnessed Hammarby secure bragging rights with a 4-3 victory over Djurgarden

Martí Cifuentes’ team started strongly, with Nahir Besara scoring a penalty in the 34th minute to break the deadlock.

Besara then provided an excellent ball to Nathaniel Adjei, who volleyed the ball into the far left corner to restore Hammarby’s two-goal lead before halftime.

This is Adjei’s maiden goal in the Swedish  Allsvenskan.

Although Edvin Kurtulus scored an own goal four minutes into the second half, August Mikkelsen gave Hammarby a 3-1 advantage after being found by Besara.

Djurgarden’s Haris Radetinac scored in the 64th minute, but Besara sealed his brace with another penalty twenty-one minutes later.

Despite Marcus Danielson reducing the scoreline to 4-3 in the 88th minute, Hammarby held on for their third victory of the season.

Adjei, who played as a makeshift right-back, had a rating of 87, second only to Besara.

With Simon Strand suspended, Adjei is expected to keep his place in the team for the next game against Goteborg at Gamla Ullevi Stadium next Sunday.
