    Ghanaian youngster, Henry Addo signs for Maccabi Tel Aviv



    Maccabi Tel Aviv has officially completed the signing of promising Ghanaian forward Henry Addo from Slovakian club MSK Zilina, in a transfer deal valued at 1 million euros.

    The 20-year-old attacker has inked a contract that spans 3.5 years, binding him to the Israeli outfit until the culmination of the 2026/27 season.

    Following a successful medical examination, Addo finalized the formalities of his agreement with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

    He is slated to don the number 20 jersey for his new club and is anticipated to offer versatility in the attacking positions, capable of occupying various roles.

    In a statement issued by the club, Addo expressed his enthusiasm about joining Maccabi Tel Aviv, highlighting it as the premier club in Israel with a distinguished reputation across Europe.

    He expressed his eagerness to exert himself and make meaningful contributions to the team’s achievements.

    Addo honed his skills at Zilina’s African youth academy before relocating to Slovakia in 2021.

    His rapid ascent into the first team saw him netting 7 goals in 28 appearances across different competitions, capturing the attention of Maccabi scouts and ultimately facilitating his move to Israel.
