Akologo previously had the opportunity to represent the Ghana U20 team, showcasing his talent internationally. His selection for the Bolivia national team presents him with the chance to further establish himself as a skilled goalkeeper on the global stage.

Akologo began his football journey in Bolivia with Cochabamba FC in 2020, later moving to Club Deportivo Aurora after a season.

He also had stints at CD Enrique Happ and Club Deportivo FATIC before returning to Aurora in January 2023. Akologo is expected to make his senior international debut for Bolivia in their matches against Algeria and Andorra in the upcoming FIFA Series.
