Ghana Premier League: Elmina Sharks cruise past Liberty
Elmina Sharks continued their impressive form on Saturday with a 3-1 win against Liberty Professionals in the Match Week 13 fixture of the Ghana Premier League, they are now unbeaten in their last five league games.
Benjamin Tweneboah opened the scoring with a great finish in the 8th minute to put his side in front, he later created the second goal for Alhaji Mustapha who tapped in to double their lead.
Augustine Owusu scored Elmina’s third goal after connecting with a free-kick to head home in the 51st minute of the game.
Liberty Professionals pulled one back in the 67th minute, Mubarak scored a solo goal.
Following the Liberty goal, Elmina sat back and preserved their lead until full time.
