Ghana Premier League: Berekum Chelsea share spoils with Legon Cities

Ghana star player Asamoah Gyan watched from the bench as Lgon Cities settled for a 1-1 draw against Berekum Chelsea in Accra on Match day one of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.

Both teams scored their goals in the first 45 minutes of the game, both goals came from the penalty spot; Stephen Amakona scoring for Berekum Chelsea, before Jonah Attuaquaye restored parity before the halftime whistle.

The second half, however, was not as interesting as the first as both team were cautious and cagey till the final whistle was blown.

Elvis Opoku of Legon Cities was named the man of the match after the game.
