    Black Stars will host their Nigeria counterparts in the first leg of the decisive 2022 World Cup playoff game in Kumasi on Friday in the most anticipated match on the continent.

    The Black Stars and the Super Eagles are arch-rivals and have played several matches among themselves over the past years.

    There has been 56  fixtures between the 2 sides with Ghana being victorious in 25 of the games, while the opponents secured 12 victories.

    The two teams last played in the semi-finals at the 2014 African Nations Championship. Ghana triumphed on penalties.
