Ghana Football Association directs all elite clubs to observe mandatory rest

In adherence to regulations and with a focus on player welfare, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has instructed all top-tier clubs to observe a compulsory break from June 17 to July 16, 2024.

This decision is aimed at safeguarding the health and well-being of players after a demanding league season.

Underlining the significance of player safety, the GFA highlights the necessity for players to take a period of rest and recuperation following the league’s conclusion.

Clubs are also encouraged to utilize this break to prepare for the upcoming season.

All parties involved are encouraged to comply with these instructions and demonstrate respect for the measures implemented to safeguard player welfare.

The 2024/25 season is set to kick off in September, providing clubs and players with ample time to recover and get ready for the new campaign.
