The Ghana Football Association has declined Hearts of Oak’s request to reschedule their Matchweek 30 fixture against Legon Cities on Thursday, the club’s Communications Director confirmed.

Hearts of Oak earlier wrote a letter to the GFA requesting that their game against Legon Cities be rescheduled to enable their players to rest before the Super Clash against Asante Kotoko.

“The Ghana FA has sent us a letter that our request for the change of time cannot be granted. For now, we are focusing on the Windy Professionals game on Sunday, then we deal with the Legon Cities and use the other day for recovery ahead of Kotoko game” Communications Director Opare Addo said.

Hearts of Oak will have a 42-hours rest after the Legon Cities game before they face Kotoko.
