    Ghana book place in WAFU B U-20 Girls tournament final after win over Burkina Faso



    Ghana is looking forard to emerging as champions in the ongoing WAFU B U-20 Girls tournament following an impressive triumph over Burkina Faso in the semi-finals on Wednesday.

    Under the guidance of coach Yusif Basigi, the Ghanaian team showcased their superiority by securing convincing victories against Benin and Ivory Coast in the group stage, solidifying their status as favourites for the title.

    In the semi-final, they put on a stellar performance, securing a 3-1 win and booking their place in the final, bringing them one step closer to achieving success.

    The goal scorers for the Black Princesses were Stella Nyamekye, Success Ameyaa, and Faiza Seidu, who exhibited their prowess on the field.

    The team now eagerly awaits the outcome of the other semi-final clash between Nigeria and Benin.

    Under Basigi’s guidance, the Ghanaian players have embraced an entertaining style of play, delighting the Kumasi fans who have shown unwavering support throughout the tournament.

    With their eyes set on sealing victory in the final, Ghana is determined to bring pride and glory to their fellow Ghanaians as they face Nigeria in the final.
