    Ghana and Athletic Bilbao striker, Inaki Williams finally  ends goal drought

    Athletic Bilbao’s striker Inaki Williams finally found the back of the net after months of goal drought.

    Prior to last night’s goal, Inaki’s last goal was against  Villarreal in October 2022.

    Inaki scored in the  Copa del Rey game against Osasuna on Tuesday but is goal was not enough to send his side through.

    The first leg of the tie ended in a 1-0 defeat for Bilbao. Inaki’s goal meant Bilbao was tied on aggregate.

    Osasuna managed to score in extra-time, to book  their spot in this season’s Copa del Rey final.
