    GFA unveils Women’s Football Strategy mascot and logo



    The Ghana Football Association has unveiled a new logo and mascot for its recently introduced Women’s Football Strategy.

    The mascot, named ‘Asantewaa the fearless,’ symbolizes inclusiveness and diversity.

    Launched in July this year, the Women’s Football Strategy is designed to implement practical programs and initiatives for the advancement of women’s football in the upcoming football cycle.

    With the theme “Empower Her Game,” the Women’s Football Strategy will be in effect from 2023 to 2026, with a strong focus on grassroots development and the promotion of women’s football.

    Headed by Ama Brobbey Williams, the Head of Women’s Football Development at the Association, the strategy aims to improve and establish a brand strategy for women’s football
