GFA Foundation donates GHS10,000 to ex Asante Kotoko goalkeeper’s trainer.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has shown its dedication to the well-being of individuals involved in the football industry by providing assistance to former Asante Kotoko goalkeepers’ trainer, Sampson Appiah.

On the 15th of May, the GFA Foundation visited Appiah and presented him with a donation of GHS10,000.

Among the officials of the Foundation who made the donation was Kurt Okraku, the President of the Ghana FA. Launched last month, the GFA Foundation operates as a charitable arm of the association, with a focus on supporting those in need, engaging in philanthropy, and promoting the welfare of individuals involved in the football industry.

The Foundation’s objective is to make a positive impact on people’s lives through its support for local and international development initiatives and objectives.

The donation made to Sampson Appiah exemplifies the Foundation’s commitment to aiding industry players who require assistance.

Appiah’s significant contribution to the development of goalkeepers in Ghana is widely acknowledged, and the GFA’s donation serves as a token of appreciation for his service to Ghanaian football.

It is anticipated that the GFA Foundation will continue its efforts to assist industry players in need and contribute to the advancement of football in Ghana.

This donation to Appiah signifies a step in the right direction, and it is hoped that more players, trainers, and other stakeholders in the industry will benefit from the Foundation’s initiatives.

The GFA’s commitment to the welfare of industry players is commendable and represents a positive advancement for Ghanaian football.

Appiah now joins the list of beneficiaries of the Foundation, which includes former Ghana coach Sellas Tetteh and former Black Stars team manager Nii Saban Quaye.
