The 22-man Black Meteors squad that traveled from Accra to Maputo for the TotalEnergies CAF U-23 Championship second-round qualifier against Mozambique has been confirmed.

Coach Ibrahim Tanko’s side includes Afriyie Barnieh, Danlad Ibrahim, Samuel Abbey Quaye, who were all in the U-20 team that won the 2021 CAF U-20 tournament in Mauritania.

The team also includes some of the best young players in the local leagues and players from the previous U-20 squad that played in the WAFU tournament in Niger and the Maurice Revello tournament in France respectively.
