    Forson Amankwah scores brace for Red Bull Salzburg in Austrian Cup



    In the Austrian Cup match on Tuesday, Ghanaian midfielder Forson Amankwah scored a brace  for his side, Red Bull Salzburg.

    Forson came  on as a substitute and  left a significant mark on the game, propelling Salzburg to a convincing victory against Austria Salzburg at the Untersberg-Arena.

    Upon his entry into the match, with Red Bull Salzburg already leading 1-0, Amankwah had an immediate impact, scoring two goals in the 63rd and 74th minutes.

    Together with goals from Amar Dedic and Strahinja Pavlovic, Amankwah’s contributions were instrumental in Red Bull Salzburg’s commanding 4-0 triumph over Austria Salzburg.

    Amankwah’s dynamic performance coming off the bench underscored his importance to the team, and his goals played a pivotal role in their advancement to the subsequent round of the competition.

    Remarkably, the 20-year-old has now tallied three goals this season and looks to add more as the season progresses.
