    Coach Boadu was relieved off his duties as head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak yesterday after long meeting with the club board.


    Samuel Boadu brought a lot of success to the club in his two-season stay, having won them five trophies. The club in the official release indicated that the board feels this is the right time to take a new direction.

    The start to the new season was not great for Boadu and his technical team as fans and members of the Accra Hearts of Oak showed dissatisfaction with the performance of the team.

    Boadu posted his thank you message to the fans and the board on his Twitter page. The message was a simple one that said:

    The management of the club have indicated that Coach Nii Noi and Ben Mensah will handle the team for now as the search for a new head coach continues.

    Hearts of Oak play Gold Stars at home on matchday four of the BetPawa premier league. The club hopes to secure their first win of the season having drawn two and lost one.
