Belgian coach Tom Saintfiet has reportedly applied for the position of Ghana Black Stars Head Coach following the departure of Chris Hughton.

The vastly experienced coach left his position at Gambia following their poor run at the 2023 AFCON and is currently unemployed.

Ghana Football Association earlier appointed a committee to search for the next Ghana head coach and submit their recommendations to the association.

Sahara Football understands several coaches worldwide have applied for the vacant position, including local coaches in Ghana, but the committee are yet to decide on who will lead Ghana in the upcoming games.
