The club made the announcement on their official Facebook page, stating, “Former Black Stars goalkeeper Sammy Adjei is our new Goalkeeper Coach.”

Sammy Adjei is widely recognized as one of the best goalkeepers to emerge from Ghana. He played a significant role in leading the Black Stars to their first-ever World Cup qualification and also guided Hearts of Oak to multiple titles.

His contributions were instrumental in Hearts of Oak’s victories against Esperance de Tunis in 2000 and 2001, as well as Zamalek of Egypt in the CAF Champions League and CAF Super Cup. During his time with Hearts of Oak, the team clinched the Ghana Premier League title six times in a row.

During his international career with the Black Stars, the highly respected goalkeeper represented his country in 37 matches.

Dreams FC will be making their debut in the CAF Confederation Cup, with their first match scheduled against Milo FC of Guinea.

Dreams will commence their campaign with an away match in Guinea, followed by a rematch at the Accra Sports Stadium.
