Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku played a pivotal role in Leicester City’s triumph against Birmingham City at St Andrews Stadium.

The 19-year-old, on loan from Sporting Lisbon, contributed two assists in the 3-2 victory, helping the Foxes maintain their top position in the Championship standings.

In a dynamic start, Issahaku initiated a break from his own half, setting up Stephy Mavididi for the opening goal in the tenth minute.

Although Jordan James equalized for the hosts four minutes later, Issahaku’s well-crafted pass to Kiernan Drewsbury-Hall restored the Foxes’ lead after seven minutes.

Mavididi secured his second goal five minutes into the second half, extending Leicester City’s lead. Despite a late goal from James with 15 minutes remaining, it wasn’t enough for a comeback.

Issahaku has been in impressive form in the Championship, registering two goals and providing five assists in 18 matches.
