Asante Kotoko are currently lining Great Olympics coach Annor Walker and Ibrahim Tanko as possible replacements for Mariano Barreto if the Portuguese coach leaves at the end of the season, Sahara Football understands.

The management of Asante Kotoko are reportedly unhappy with the fact that the club failed to clinch the league title and are pushing for a change in the technical department of the club.

Therefore the club are considering appointing Great Olympics boss Annor Walker or Ibrahim Tanko to charge at the club ahead of next season.

Although no definite decision has been made about Barreto’s future at Kotoko, Sahara Football understands the coach is likely to part ways with the club at the end of the season.

The Porcupines have already lost the league title to rivals Hearts of Oak and are currently out of form, the management of the club however believe they can end the season with an FA Cup success.
