Ghana Black Stars forward Antoine Semenyo is set to stay at Bristol City after the club rejected a £10 million offer from English Premier League side Bournemouth, Sahara Football understands.

Bournemouth are looking to strengthen their attack with Semenyo, but Bristol City rejected their £10 million bid as the club wanted £ 15 million + add-ons for the player.

Sahara Football understands Everton were also preparing a late bid for the talented forward but the player’s party insisted that Semenyo wants to stay at Bristol City as he is focusing on staying fit, getting playing time, and eventually featuring in the World Cup with Ghana.

Antoine Semenyo has scored three goals in three games since his return from injury and will be looking to continue with his good form ahead of the international break.
