Exclusive: Aduana, Hearts and Kotoko interested in Liberty’s Simon Zibo

Hearts of Oak, Aduana Stars, and Asante Kotoko are interested in signing Liberty Professionals’ midfielder Simon Zibo, according to Liberty head coach Reginald Asante.

Reginald Asante while taking to Sahara Football revealed that the three clubs have shown interest in signing the player but added that Zibo wants to stay at Liberty to develop himself.

“There are a lot of teams interested in him (not Kotoko alone), last year Aduana showed interest then Hearts Of Oak and Asante Kotoko but Zibo is the calm type, he doesn’t want the pressure and he wants a team where he can learn a lot”

He revealed that the player might leave in the future to get exposure but still has a lot to learn before taking the big steps.

“Although Kotoko and Hearts Of Oak can give him exposure, he still has a lot to learn”

When asked if Simon Zibo will leave Liberty any time soon, he said:

    “Not yet”.

Simon Zibo was one of the best performers in their 0-0 draw against Hearts Of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, he was withdrawn to the defence after Micheal Enu was sent off for a late tackle on Joseph Esso.
