Everybody talks well about Yacouba – Kotoko coach Zachariassen

Asante Kotoko coach has stated that everyone is pleased with Sogne Yacouba’s return to the squad, he also revealed that his team are ready for the CAF Champions League preliminary round second leg against Kano Pillars on Sunday in Kumasi.

The coach also stated that it is not the sole responsibility of a single player to score goals as he has given other players the freedom to express themselves.

“We are scoring, we are scoring in training; we are scoring in matches and we have six people in front of the back four who all can score so we don’t depend only on our strikers,” he said

Coach Zachariassen added that Sogne Yacouba is currently recovering from injury and will receive updates from the medical team on his progress.

“Everybody talks well about him. So we hope he can get fit because he has some injury problem. He is just running at the moment. We will check him. Let’s see how things work out for him”

Asante Kotoko will welcome Kano Pillars this Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium as they look to bounce back from their 3-2 away defeat in Nigeria.
