Emmanuel Boateng unbothered by recent Black Stars snub

Emmanuel Boateng, a forward for Rio Ave, has expressed his reaction to consistently being overlooked by the coaching staff of the Black Stars, the Ghanaian national team.

Despite being a regular member of the team from 2018 to 2021, Boateng has not received an invitation since 2021.

However, he remains unfazed by this situation and emphasizes the importance of respecting the coach’s player selection.

Boateng states that he will give his best on the field, work hard, and remain determined in every game, regardless of not being called up.

During the recently concluded season, the 27-year-old performed impressively, scoring six goals in 28 matches in the Portuguese Primeira Liga for Rio Ave.

His contract with Rio Ave is set to expire on June 30, 2024. Boateng mentions that he currently does not know if he will continue with the team in the upcoming season.

Having previously represented Ghana on seven occasions, Boateng’s future involvement with the national team remains uncertain.
