Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah has hinted that he could switch from England to play for the Ghana Black Stars in the coming months.

Following Ghana Black Stars successful qualifiers and qualifying for the World Cup, several players with Ghanaian roots have been considering playing for Ghana later this year in Qatar.

Eddie Nketiah has revealed that there is a possibility of him switching to play for Ghana Black Stars, but added he needs to consult his family before making a final decision.

“I will sit down with my family and take the final decision at the end of the season,” he said

“My parents are both Ghanaians. It is a possibility; I am open to playing for both Ghana and England”

“I am happy they have qualified for the World Cup, I know players like Partey so I am happy for them” he added.

Eddie Nketiah has made several appearances for England U18, 19, 20, and 21 but is yet to make an appearance for the senior national team which makes him eligible to play for Ghana.
