Dreams FC seek revenge against Hearts of Oak

Dreams FC look poised for revenge against Hearts of Oak on Sunday, March 31, 2019, when the two sides square off on matchday one of the NC Special Competition at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Hearts of Oak were 2-1 victors in the last match between the two which saw the Phobians lift the ST Nettey Cup in an offseason contest.

Manager Juha Pasoja doesn’t seem to be ready for a second consecutive defeat and would urge his charges to go all out and secure positive results against the hosts.

Key for Dreams would be Black Meteors duo Issah Yakubu and Maxwell Arthur who return from Gabon on the back of a 4-1 enti ute qualification to the next stage of the Qualifiers. The two have been absent in the DFC camp over a long period and would be crucial in Sunday’s game.

Also, striker Eric Gawu and goalkeeper Isaac Amoako’s experience is also expected to play an essential role in unsettling the rainbow lads at their own backyard.

Youngsters Philemon Baffour and Montari Kamaheni all likely to earn to a role in Sunday’s cliff-hanger.

    FACT:

Dreams FC are yet to defeat Hearts at the Accra Sports Stadium and would hope to break the jinx come Sunday.

Dreams FC last defeat Hearts in the finals of the G8 tournament in Cape Coast in January 2018.

Games between the two sides have recorded not more than three goals.

    Kick off is 3 pm.
