Dreams FC coach Karim Zito satisfied with CAF Confederation Cup draw.

Dreams FC coach, Abdul Karim Zito, expressed his satisfaction of the CAF Confederation Cup draw that paired his team against Guinean side Milo FC de Kankan in the first round.

He believes it is a fair matchup as both teams share a similar profile. Dreams FC earned their spot in the CAF inter-club competition by winning the Ghana FA Cup, making it their debut appearance at this level.

Zito is confident that his team can achieve positive results against Milo FC due to the pedigree of their opponents. While acknowledging that Milo FC may not be widely recognized in the industry, he sees this as an advantage, making the contest an open and fair one.

Zito explained, “It is a fair draw; the reason why I am saying it is a fair draw is that this is my first day of hearing about Milo FC from Guinea.

Dreams FC is also a young club, and back when I was playing football, we didn’t know about Milo FC.”

He further added, “Even though Milo FC might be considered a young side, we shouldn’t underestimate them because any team that reaches this level in African Football cannot be taken lightly.”

The first preliminary round matches are scheduled for August 18th to 20th for the first leg, and August 25th to 27th for the second leg.
