Dreams FC coach Karim Zito pleased with players’ character after Samartex victory

Dreams Fc defeated Samartex 2-0 to avenge their loss to King Faisal in their match day 27 fixture of the GPL.

Head coach, Karim Zito claimed following the game that the players’ outstanding qualities both on and off the field contributed to the win.

He insisted that the victory demonstrates the team’s talent as well as its tenacity and perseverance.

“If you look at the game we played, the two teams are not in a good situation, so I see a decent character.”

“My boys’ attitude shifted toward winning because we know that if we don’t win this game, we should forget about the league,” he told Happy FM.

“You are aware of Ghanaians’ calculations; now we will plan ahead and see how quickly we can progress and uplift ourselves from that position.”

“Apart from the goals, we are quite pleased with how we managed the game thus far. When we settled down to play, we went in for the goal, so I’m fine,” he added.

The next game for Dreams FC at Akoon Park will be against Medeama SC, who are currently 12th in the GPL standings.
