    Black Stars, Andre Ayew explains that a lot has changed after the loss to Portugal in Brazil


    Ghana lost to Portugal in the 2014 World Cup hosted in Brazil and is looking to revenge today.

    The Black Stars play Portugal today in their opening Group H Match in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Doha.

    The two Group H teams will meet for the first time after their encounter in the 2014 world cup which ended in a 2-1 victory for Portugal.

    Captain Dede was very optimistic about the match during the pre-match press conference yesterday.

    “The two teams have changed a lot since then. It is a different game, when we played them in 2014 we had to win by two goals to advance,” Ayew said.

    “It is not the same game, or the same moment, it is completely different. Every game has its own realities and we will try to give them a tough time.

    Ghana will play Portugal today then South Korea three days time and a revenge clash against Uruguay on December 2, 2022.
