Ghana’s David Abagna scores as Al Hilal beat Coton Sport to go top of CAF CL, Group B

Ex Real Tamale United captain, David Abagna was on target for his side, Al Hilal as they urged past Coton Sports in the CAF champions league.

Abagna found the opener just before the break as Al Hilal mounted pressure from the early stages of the game.

Makabi Lilepo scored from the spot seven minutes remaining to double the lead for Al Hilal.

Al Hilal are currently  top of Group B after four games with Al Ahly and Mamelodi Sundowns yet to play.

Abagna signed for Al Hilal  from RTU after Ghana’s exit from the Championship of African Nations earlier this year.

Fellow Ghanaian Ibrahim Imoro started and  lasted the entire duration while Abagna was substituted after 64 minutes and was replaced by Fabrice Ngoma.
