Daniel Awuni named MoTM in Accra Lions draw with Bofoakwa Tano

Daniel Awuni’s stellar performance earned him the Man of the Match title in the clash between Accra Lions and Bofoakwa Tano during matchday 7 of the Ghana Premier League.

The dynamic winger showcased his skills by scoring an impressive goal, rescuing a point for his team at the Sunyani Coronation Park last Friday.

Throughout the game, Awuni proved to be a constant threat on the flanks for the Accra-based club, even coming close to securing a late victory in the second half.

Speaking to Sahara football Awuni said: ” I am really excited to get my first goal of the season but dissapointed with the results because we came here for the three points.”

” This is the first of many goals to come so I am really focused on improving”

” This season we want to do better than last season and though we have had a slow start, we will bounce bounce.”

On the other side, the hosts had a strong start with Najib Fuseini finding the net in the very first minute.

This draw puts an end to Accra Lions’ three-game losing streak as they aim to regain their momentum. In their upcoming matches, Accra Lions will face Heart of Lions in Accra, while Bofoakwa Tano will travel to Dormaa to take on Aduana Stars.
