    Cyrus Kalu close to joining Hamitköy- Reports

    Nigeria National League contenders First Bank Football Club of Lagos has sent birthday greetings to former defender Daniel Cyrus who turns 20 on Wednesday, Saharasports.com reports. “Happy Birthday to Daniel Kalu Cyrus, Three-years ago you joined The Bankers. We are proud of you.” First Bank FC wrote on their Twitter handle. Kalu who was instrumental in leading First Bank FC win the Dictrict 3 League title was born in Lagos , Lagos State, Nigeria and began his soccer career at Ebede. He now plays for Turkish Cyprus league contenders Hamitköy SHSK of Northern Cyprus.

    Nigeria’s center defender Daniel Cyrus Kalu is reportedly close to joining Hamitköy FC.

    According to Allele Okafor, the agent of the youngster he will join the Turkish-Cyprus Super Lig club on a year deal with an option to extend at the end of the 2019/2020 season.

    The Lagos born arrived in Northern Cyprus on Monday and will undergo a mandatory medical test before inking the contract within the week.
    The 20-year-old joined Nigeria National League club First Bank FC from FC Ebede.
