CK Akonnor did not recommend Kotoko’s recent signings

Following news that CK Akonnor is no longer the coach of Asante Kotoko, fans have been wondering who is making these signings for the club since there is no coach.

Asante Kotoko have so far completed the signing of three players; Justice Blay joined on a season-long loan from Medeama, while Kelvin Andoh and Kwame Baah joined on a free transfer signing a three-year deal with the club.

These signings were initiated and orchestrated by the technical team. According to Kotoko official statement when announcing the signing Kelvin Andoh, the technical team supervised the players and were satisfied with their form before completing the signing.

CK Akonnor might have the chance to recommend later signings if he accepts the reported Head of Technical team role offered to him in the past few days.
