CK Akonnor comments on his future with Asante Kotoko

Asante Kotoko boss CK Akonnor revealed that he is not scared of losing his job, he adds that he is ready for any decision the management makes.

There have been several reports in the local media that Asante Kotoko are considering relieving CK Akonnor of his duties as Kotoko head coach after they failed to reach the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Upon their arrival, CK Akonnor was asked if he will be shocked if he gets the sack:

“Oh, why will I be shocked? It’s football and a lot of things happen. In normal life, the reason why we get shocked is when you don’t open up to anticipate anything. If you take it like anything can happen, you won’t be shocked.” he said while talking to Atinka FM
