    Ghana Black Stars coach Chris Hughton submitted a 55-man provisional squad to CAF for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations tournament.



    Medeama and Dreams FC dominated the list of local-based players who were included in the provisional squad for the Africa Cup of Nations.

    Asante Kotoko playmaker Richmond Lamptey also made the provisional squad.

    Full list of local-based players included in provisional squad:

    Jonathan Sowah – Medeama
    Hamidu Fatawu – Medeama
    Abdulai Nurudeen – Medeama
    Derrick Fordjour – Medeama
    Felix Kyei – Dreams FC
    John Antwi – Dreams FC
    Godfred Atuahene – Dreams FC
    Richmond Lamptey – Asante Kotoko
    Emmanuel Antwi – Great Olympics
    Benjamin Asare – Great Olympics
    Emmanuel Antwi – Great Olympics
    Razak Simpson – Nations FC
    The final 29-man squad list will be announced before the beginning of the tournament in Ivory Coast.
