Charles Taylor fires Hearts of Oak squad and management for an awful season

Former Hearts of Oak legend Charles Taylor has expressed his dissatisfaction and delivered a scathing assessment of the present squad and management team after the club’s 2-1 loss to RTU on Sunday.

Taylor, who played a significant role during the successful era of the 64 Battalions of Hearts of Oak, did not mince words in his criticism of his former team.

During an interview with Angel TV, he remarked, “The current Hearts of Oak squad and management are the worst I’ve ever witnessed in my lifetime.”

The Phobians experienced a home defeat against RTU, marking their fourth consecutive loss.

This string of poor results has placed them in a precarious situation, with the looming threat of relegation as they approach the final round of matches.

Taylor’s remarks convey his disappointment with the current state of Hearts of Oak and his concerns about their performance on the field.

As a former player who enjoyed success with the club, he holds high standards and has lofty expectations for the team.

To avoid relegation, the 21-time league champions must prevent defeat in their upcoming match against Berekum Chelsea.
