CAF CC: Asante Kotoko – San Pedro game abandoned due to heavy rain
Asante Kotoko CAF Confederation Cup playoffs game against FC San Pedro has been abandoned due to heavy rainfall at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
The game was goalless at the end of the first half.
The second half was delayed due to heavy downpour and was finally abandoned after the officials inspected the pitch and decided the game won’t be continuing.
Reports are suggesting the game will continue tomorrow with both teams playing only 45 minutes.
