Cabfix Ladies FC have extended their nationwide menstrual health outreach by donating sanitary pads to Ghana’s U-15 Girls’ National Team, as they prepare to defend their title at the upcoming CAF African Schools Football Championship.
The presentation took place at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, where the Black Damsels are currently in camp ahead of the continental finals scheduled to be held in Harare, Zimbabwe from April 2 to 10, 2026.
Ghana heads into the competition as defending champions after an impressive debut campaign in 2025, where they defeated Uganda U-15 Girls National Team 2-0 in the final at the University of Ghana Stadium to clinch the title.
The donation forms part of Cabfix Ladies’ broader initiative aimed at supporting female footballers with essential menstrual health products. The club recently received an additional 200 boxes of Softcare sanitary pads from the Office of the Vice President to expand their outreach across the country.
As part of activities at the training base, Cabfix Ladies also engaged in a friendly match against the Ghana U-17 Women’s National Team, who are preparing for their FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers against Togo Women’s National Team in April. The national side secured a 5-0 victory, with Cabfix Ladies goalkeeper Belinda Maku Aklie featuring in post against her club side.
In addition to supporting the Black Damsels, Cabfix Ladies extended the donation exercise to six women currently undertaking the CAF License B coaching course in Prampram, further highlighting their commitment to empowering women both on and off the pitch.
The initiative aligns with ongoing efforts to promote menstrual health, ensure inclusivity, and support the development of women’s football in Ghana, particularly at the grassroots and youth levels.
