    Cabfix Ladies FC continued its support for women’s football development with the donation of 26 boxes of Softcare sanitary pads to Women’s Division One teams in the Northern and Upper West Regions on Sunday, January 25, 2026.

     



    The donation was received in Tamale, the capital of the Northern Region, by Mr. Adim Tindanzo Bingi, CEO of Dahinsheli Ladies FC, on behalf of the Tamale and Wa Women’s Division One teams. The presentation was made by Mr. Jerod Doetse Kabu, CEO of Cabfix Ladies FC.

    Out of the 26 boxes donated, 20 boxes were allocated to the Tamale Women’s Division One teams, while six boxes were set aside for their counterparts in the Upper West Region.

    Speaking after receiving the items, Mr. Bingi, who is affiliated with the Northern Regional Football Association (NRFA) in Tamale and the Upper West Regional Football Association (UWRFA) in Wa, expressed appreciation for the gesture and described it as timely and impactful. He further assured that the sanitary pads would be distributed to the beneficiary teams as intended.

    Mr. Kabu reiterated Cabfix Ladies FC’s commitment to supporting women and girls in football and indicated that the club intends to extend similar support to women’s teams across all divisions nationwide as part of efforts to promote menstrual health and ensure that it does not hinder participation in football.

    The donation forms part of ongoing efforts aligned with Ghana’s Period-Free initiative, aimed at supporting the welfare, dignity, and active participation of girls and women in sports.
