Matchday two of the FIFA U15 Girls Regional Colts Leagues in the Greater Accra Region produced thrilling action on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the Abofu Park, as teams continued their push for early dominance in the maiden edition of the competition.
In Group A, Ideal Ladies and Accra Ladys played out a 1–1 draw in a closely fought contest, with both sides earning their first points of the season after opening-day defeats. Epiphany Next Gen, however, maintained their perfect start with a solid 3–1 victory over Ridge City Women, making it two wins from two and strengthening their position at the top of the table.
In Group B, Dangme South Ladies secured a hard-fought 2–1 win over Ga West Ladies to remain firmly in contention. But once again, Cabfix Ladies stole the spotlight with an emphatic 7–1 victory over Rock Ladies, continuing their dominant run after their nine-goal win on matchday one.
Cabfix Ladies’ attacking duo led the charge, with Jessica Benni scoring two goals to increase her tally to seven in the competition. Teammate Rose Amakie also delivered an outstanding performance, netting a hat-trick to take her total to four goals, further highlighting the club’s attacking strength.
After two rounds of matches, Epiphany Next Gen and Cabfix Ladies remain the only teams with a 100 percent record, setting the pace in their respective groups as the competition gathers momentum.
The FIFA U15 Girls Regional Colts Leagues form part of FIFA’s Women’s Football Development Programme, which is aimed at strengthening grassroots participation, talent identification, and the long-term growth of women’s football in Ghana. Other regions across the country are also actively competing, with the Eastern Region recently completing its matchday two fixtures.
The league continues to serve as a vital platform for nurturing young talents and shaping the future of women’s football in the country.
