Tottenham captain Harry Kane didn’t show up in Tottenham’s pre-season training on Monday amidst Manchester City interest in the England striker.

Manchester City made a £100m bid for England captain at end of June but Spurs rejected the bid and insisted the striker is not for sale.

Kane is valued at upwards of £120m and Tottenham are keen to keep him despite the striker believing he has a gentleman’s agreement with Daniel Levy.

Confirmed. Harry Kane has NOT shown up for Tottenham training, as @skysportspaulg revealed. Been told it’s Harry Kane choice and not related to Covid test. ⚪️ #THFC

Kane is assuming that he has had a ‘gentlemen agreement’ with the club since one year to leave Spurs this summer.

Levy, who has appointed Juventus’ former football officer Fabio Paratici as the club’s new managing director of football, said in June he sympathizes with Kane’s frustrations about the lack of silverware at Spurs but hinted a deal could be difficult to do
