    Brazilian midfielder Fabio Gama has left Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko after opting not to renew his contract with the club, Sahara Football understands.



    The midfielder who won the league in his second season at the club will be joining Bahraini giants Muharraq Club.

    Asante Kotoko officially announced the departure of the player and thanked him for his services.

    Fabio Gama in his two-year stint with Asante Kotoko scored five goals in 48 appearances.

    Following an impressive debut season in which he scored four goals in 28 Ghana Premier League games, the attacking midfielder made 20 appearances in the 2021/22 season.
