Ghana Black Stars coach Otto Addo made a late call to include Gent midfielder Elisha Owusu in the final 26-man squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Elisha Owusu who received an earlier call informing him he won’t be going to the World Cup has been informed a few hours ago that he will be joining the team after Baba Idrissu suffered an injury.
Baba Idrissu went out injured in Mallorca’s La Liga game against Atletico a few days ago.

Otto Addo spoke with Baba Idrissu and is still waiting for the final scan results, but has called up Elisha Owusu as he isn’t very optimistic about Baba’s situation.
Sahara Football understands the Black Stars team will begin camping this weekend, while Otto Addo is set to announce the full squad on Monday.
