German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen have announced the signing of Ghanaian forward Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea on a season-long loan.

The 21-year-old who has found it difficult to make way into the Chelsea first team will spend his season in Germany, a move that will help revive in professional career.

“The move to Germany is really exciting for me and I can play in the Champions League with Bayer 04 Leverkusen,” he said

“That combination is really attractive and I’m keen to get to know the club, the fans, and the Bundesliga. Kai Havertz only had good things to say about it to me in the Chelsea dressing room.”
