Breaking: Asamoah Gyan returns to Black Stars; available for AFCON selection

Asamoah Gyan has rescinded his decision to retire from International football barely two days after announcing his decision to quit the national team.

His decision to return back to the National team and making himself available for the AFCON was influenced by the President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo who had a meeting with Kwesi Appiah and other staff concerning the situation.

Asamoah Gyan released a statement on Wednesday morning stating that he has rescinded his decision to retire, he also revealed that he did this upon the President’s request.
