    FK Sarajevo has announced the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Abdul Rashid Abubakar from Ghana premier league side Accra Lions FC.

    The 22-year-old  who played an instrumental role for Accra Lions in their maiden Ghana premier league season has penned a two year deal after passing his medicals with the Bosnian Giants.

    Although it was the first time he was playing top-flight football, the midfielder excelled and finished the season with high praise.

    Following a show of interest from FK Sarajevo and
    successful talks with Accra Lions FC, the player has
    now been transferred permanently.

    This has been confirmed by the Ghana Premier
    League side in an official Facebook post.

    Accra Lions Football Club can confirm the departure of midfielder Abdul Rashid Abubakar to Bosnian powerhouse FK Sarajevo.

    A post on the Facebook page of Accra Lions FC said, “ALFC wishes Rashid the best of luck in this exciting new step in his career.
