Bofoakwa Tano to play Skyy FC in 2023 Division One League Super Cup final.

Bofoakwa Tano has successfully secured their place in the final of the Division One League Super Cup. Their upcoming match on Friday, September 1, 2023 against Skyy FC will determine the champion for this year.

In a closely contested match on Tuesday, Bofoakwa Tano emerged victorious with a 1-0 win over Nations FC.

The decisive goal was scored by Elijah Addai during extra time, breaking the deadlock after both teams failed to score in the regular time.

Addai was fouled just outside the penalty box at the 113-minute mark, and he skillfully converted the subsequent free-kick into the top of the net.

Skyy FC secured their spot in the final by narrowly defeating Kpando Heart of Lions in the other semi-final encounter.

Baba Musah’s goal just before half-time at the 43-minute mark gave Skyy FC the lead, which they held onto to secure their advancement at the expense of Heart of Lions.

Skyy FC, having won the inaugural edition of the competition, are in a good position to win the title for the second time. However, Bofoakwa Tano, a determined side, is eager to secure their first silverware, especially as they are set to make their return to the top flight of the league.
