Blessing Asuman’s brace earns him MOTM as Accra lions trash Berekum Chelsea 5-0

New signing Accra lions signing,  Blessing Asuman who is on loan from Vision in Motion Sporting Club scored his first two goals for Accra Lions in just his second appearance.

The  highly rated 17 year old  winger seems to have settled quickly after his move to the Ghana premiership side.

Blessing was adjudged the NASCO Man of the match award after a brilliant display for the home side.

Accra Lions started the game strongly, with Asuman coming close to scoring before Yahaya Mohammed forced the Chelsea goalkeeper into a strong save.

Shortly after, Amponsah opened the scoring by beating his marker from the center line and slotting the ball home. Just before halftime, defender Ali Mohammed doubled the lead with a header from a corner kick.

In the second half, Accra Lions continued their dominance, with Asuman scoring his debut Premier League goal with a superb effort.

The winger then added his second goal eight minutes later, finishing off a pass from Daniel Awuni.

Shakun Abubakar added a fifth goal  for Accra Lions to secure all three maximum points.
